It’s no secret that roofing is a male-dominated profession. Even though more and more women are joining the ranks of competent and experienced roofers every day, they’re still vastly underrepresented in the industry.
That’s why Beacon has introduced their Female Roofer of the Year program to recognize and celebrate women who are doing amazing work in their communities and paving paths for other aspiring female roofers to follow.
This year’s Beacon’s Female Roofer of the Year
This year’s winner of Beacon’s Female Roofer of the Year award is Michelle Ly Hall, Operations Manager at Hall Roofing and Construction in Round Rock, Texas. This individual has demonstrated exceptional skill, professionalism, and dedication to their craft.
Her attention to detail, commitment to safety, and tireless work ethic have made a lasting impact on the roofing industry. This award serves as a testament to their hard work and serves as an inspiration to others in the field.
Michelle Ly Hall, Female Roofer of the Year
Michelle assisted Erik Hall in founding Hall Roofing and Construction and provides guidance in all areas of the business: field sales, operations, production, HR, customer service, marketing, and estimating. She is also a small business owner and has a passion for serving the Round Rock community.
Michelle is an elected official on the Round Rock City Council and a board member of the YMCA, Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center, and Round Rock Rotary. In addition, she supports local military philanthropies and is on the Advisory Board of Kappa Delta sorority at the University of Texas.
